Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

• Starting from 2025, SEJ will require the inclusion of graphical abstracts along with the submission of the manuscript. Graphical abstracts should be a single image which are designed to help the readers to quickly gain an overview on research or review articles.
• The submitted manuscript has not been previously published or is not under consideration by another journal (The author must provide a clear explanation in the "Comments to the Editor" section).
• This manuscript has been thoroughly reviewed by native English speakers to ensure that the article is clear, concise, and easy to understand for readers.
• This manuscript strictly follows the specified manuscript template to ensure that the article is correctly formatted and includes all the necessary sections required for publication.
• Review the Aims & Scope to determine if this journal is suitable for your work and being accepted for publication.
• This manuscript should include recent sources and references that are no older than 5 years to remain relevant and informative to readers.
• Review the journal's guidelines and policies carefully and ensure that all requirements are met before submitting the manuscript; Publication Ethics, Copyright Transfer, Authorship, Manuscript and References format.
• Authors are encouraged to provide a list of 5-7 qualified referees to review the manuscript. The referees should not be from the same country as the authors (Optional).
• The submission file should be in Microsoft Word document format and should adhere to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the “Author Guidelines” section.
• I understand and accept the rejection of my manuscript that does not comply with the submission preparation checklist.
• Science Essence Journal does not charge any Article Processing Charges (APCs) for the publication of your manuscript.
