ตัวแบบพยากรณ์จำนวนนักท่องเที่ยวต่างชาติที่มาท่องเที่ยวในประเทศไทย Forecasting Model for the Number of International Tourist Arrivals to Thailand

Abstract

วัตถุประสงค์ของการศึกษาครั้งนี้คือ การสร้างตัวแบบพยากรณ์ที่เหมาะสมที่สุดของจำนวนนักท่องเที่ยวที่มาท่องเที่ยวในประเทศไทย โดยใช้ข้อมูลสถิตินักท่องเที่ยว จำนวน 72 ค่า ตั้งแต่เดือนมกราคม 2550 ถึงเดือนธันวาคม 2555 จากเว็บไซต์ของกรมการท่องเที่ยว ผู้วิจัยได้แบ่งข้อมูลออกเป็น 2 ชุด ชุดที่ 1 ตั้งแต่เดือนมกราคม 2550 ถึงเดือนมิถุนายน 2555 จำนวน 66 ค่า สำหรับการสร้างตัวแบบพยากรณ์ด้วยวิธีบอกซ์-เจนกินส์ วิธีการทำให้เรียบแบบเอกซ์โพเนนเชียลด้วยวิธีของวินเทอร์แบบคูณ วิธีการแยกส่วนประกอบของอนุกรมเวลา และวิธีการพยากรณ์รวม ชุดที่ 2 ตั้งแต่เดือนกรกฎาคมถึงเดือนธันวาคม 2555 จำนวน 6 ค่า สำหรับการเปรียบเทียบประสิทธิภาพของตัวแบบพยากรณ์ โดยใช้เกณฑ์สัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์ระหว่างข้อมูลจริงกับค่าพยากรณ์ที่สูงที่สุด ผลการศึกษาพบว่า จากวิธีการพยากรณ์ทั้งหมดที่ได้ศึกษา วิธีที่มีประสิทธิภาพมากที่สุด คือ การพยากรณ์รวมThe objective of thisstudy is to construct the appropriate forecasting model for the numberof international tourist arrivals to Thailand. Timeseries data from the website of Department of Tourism during January 2007 toDecember 2012 of 72 valuesare used and divided into two series. The first 66 values from January 2007until June 2012 for the models prediction by the methods of Box-Jenkins,Winters’ multiplicative exponential smoothing, decomposition, and combined forecasting.The last 6 valuesfrom July until December 2012 for examine the performance of forecasting modelsvia thecriterion of maximum correlation coefficient between the actualdata and the forecasts.The result shows that for all forecasting methods that have been studied, the most powerfulmethod is the combined forecasting.
