การปรับปรุงขอบเขตไม่เอกรูปบนค่าคลาดเคลื่อนสัมบูรณ์ของฟังก์ชันการแจกแจงปัวซงและทวินามนิเสธ An Improvement of Non-Uniform Bound on the Poisson–Negative Binomial Absolute Error

Abstract

ในการศึกษาครั้งนี้ เราใช้วิธีสไตน์เชนหาขอบเขตไม่เอกรูปแบบใหม่ของค่าคลาดเคลื่อนสัมบูรณ์ระหว่างฟังก์ชันการแจกแจงของตัวแปรสุ่มทวินามนิเสธที่มีพารามิเตอร์ และ และฟังก์ชันการแจกแจงของตัวแปรสุ่มปัวซงที่มีค่าเฉลี่ย ขอบเขตไม่เอกรูปแบบใหม่นี้ได้รับการปรับปรุงเพื่อใช้วัดความถูกต้องของการประมาณปัวซงได้ดีขึ้น นอกจากนี้เราจะได้ว่าขอบเขตไม่เอกรูปในการศึกษาครั้งนี้ดีกว่าขอบเขตไม่เอกรูปในงานวิจัยของ Teerapabolarm [3] ทั้งในเชิงทฤษฎีและเชิงตัวเลขIn this study, we use the Stein-Chen method todetermine a new non-uniform bound of the absolute error between the negativebinomial distribution function with parameters                          and  and thePoisson distribution function with mean . The new bound is improved to be more appropriate for measuring the accuracy ofPoisson approximation. Moreover, by theoretical and numerical comparison, thebound obtained in this study is better than the boundreported in Teerapabolarn [3].
