Abstract

งานวิจัยนี้เราใช้วิธีของสไตน์สำหรับการแจกแจงทวินามและฟังก์ชัน w ที่สัมพันธ์กับตัวแปรสุ่ม ทวินามทั่วไปเพื่อหาขอบเขตไม่เอกรูปบนการประมาณการแจกแจงทวินามทั่วไปด้วยการแจกแจงทวินาม ผลลัพธ์ของการประมาณดังกล่าวอยู่ในรูปของระยะห่างระหว่างฟังก์ชันการแจกแจงความน่าจะเป็นของ ตัวแปรสุ่มทวินามทั่วไปและตัวแปรสุ่มทวินามพร้อมด้วยขอบเขตบนแบบไม่เอกรูป นอกจากนี้เราได้ยก ตัวอย่างเชิงตัวเลขบางส่วนเพื่อแสดงผลลัพธ์ของการประมาณนี้ This paper we use Stein’s method for the binomial distribution and the w-function associated with generalized binomial random variable to determine a non-uniform bound on the binomial approximation to the generalized binomial distribution, in terms of the distance between generalized binomial and binomial probability distribution functions together with its non-uniform upper bound. Furthermore, we also give some numerical examples to illustrate the result of this approximation.
