การทดสอบความเป็นพิษด้วยวิธี Allium cepa test, Genotoxicity Evaluation by Allium cepa test

Abstract

         การใช้สารเคมีที่เพิ่มขึ้นในปัจจุบัน ส่งผลให้เกิดการปนเปื้อนของสารในสิ่งแวดล้อมและมีแนวโน้มว่าจะส่งผล กระทบต่อระบบนิเวศ จึงมีความจำเป็นในการตรวจสอบความเป็นพิษของสารปนเปื้อนในสิ่งแวดล้อม โดยวิธี Alliium cepa test เป็นวิธีการตรวจสอบความเป็นพิษเบื้องต้นโดยใช้หัวหอมใหญ่เป็นพืชทดสอบ เนื่องจากเป็นวิธีการที่ไม่ยุ่งยากซับซ้อน มีความไวในการตรวจพบความเป็นพิษ รวมทั้งให้ผลสอดคล้องกับการตรวจสอบด้วยวิธีการอื่น จึงมีการนำวิธีการนี้ไปใช้อย่างกว้างขวางเพื่อทดสอบความเป็นพิษของสารปนเปื้อนในสิ่งแวดล้อม สารกำจัดศัตรูพืช สารสกัดจากธรรมชาติและอนุภาคนาโน          Recently, there is an increasing of chemical utilization that results in chemical residuced to the environments and tend to effect the ecosystem. Hence, it is neccessary to evaluate the toxicity of contaminants that contaminated in the environment by using Allium cepa test which is the basic method for evaluating the toxicity. In this method, the onions are used as test plants since simple method, high sensitivity and good correlation to the other methods. Therefore, Allium cepa test has been widely used for genotoxicity evaluation of chemical residuced, pesticide, natural extracts, and nano paticles.
