การจัดการเรียนรู้วิทยาศาสตร์ในมิติสังคมและวัฒนธรรม: กรณีศึกษาการสอนทฤษฎีวิวัฒนาการในสังคมพุทธ คริสต์และอิสลาม Socio-Cultural Perspective of Teaching and Learning Science: A Case Study of Teaching Theory of Evolution in Buddhist, Christian, and Islamic Soc

Abstract

บทความนี้นำเสนอการจัดการเรียนรู้วิทยาศาสตร์ในมิติสังคมและวัฒนธรรมโดยมุ่งเน้นสาเหตุที่ทำให้วิวัฒนาการกลายเป็นประเด็นสำคัญในการจัดการเรียนรู้วิทยาศาสตร์ระดับโลก  ความหลากหลายและความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างกลุ่มแนวคิดเกี่ยวกับลัทธิพระเจ้าคือผู้สร้างและทฤษฎีวิวัฒนาการ  ประเด็นการสอนวิวัฒนาการสามารถสะท้อนให้เห็นถึงความซับซ้อนความละเอียดอ่อนและความเปราะบางของความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างวิทยาศาสตร์และศาสนาในประวัติศาสตร์   รวมทั้งได้ชี้ให้เห็นการสอนวิวัฒนาการในบริบทสังคมและวัฒนธรรมที่มีศาสนาเป็นแกนหลัก3 บริบท ได้แก่ สังคมคริสต์ สังคมมุสลิมและสังคมพุทธ  ครอบคลุมเรื่อง การรับรู้ การตอบสนองของสังคมผลกระทบต่อการจัดการศึกษาวิทยาศาสตร์ในสังคมและวัฒนธรรมแต่ละบริบท  การรุกคืบและอิทธิพลของกระแสโลกาภิวัฒน์  การแข่งขัน การปรับตัว การเจรจาต่อรองและคลี่คลายความขัดแย้งทั้งนี้ในตอนท้ายของบทความได้มีการแสดงจุดยืนวิธีคิดและแนวทางในการจัดการศึกษาวิทยาศาสตร์ที่คำนึงและตอบสนองต่อปัจจัยทางสังคมและวัฒนธรรมให้แก่ผู้เกี่ยวข้องทุกฝ่ายIn this article, the readers will learn socio-culturalperspective of teaching and learning science through lens of evolutioneducation.  The author discusses theimportance of evolution and why it has become a global issue in scienceeducation worldwide. The diversity and the relationshipamongst different systems of belief regarding creationism and evolution areilluminated. Teaching evolution reflects the complexity, sensitivity, andfragility of science and religion relationship in thehistory of science. The situation of teaching evolution in three differentcontexts where their religions are at the core is portrayed; Christianity,Islam and Buddhism.  In each context,perception, reaction, its consequence to science curriculum and instruction,the intrusion and the influence of globalization,competition, adaption, negotiation, and conflict resolution are investigated.  At the end, the authorreiterates his point of view, suggest how to look and deal with the dilemma,and give practical guidelines to achieve culturally responsive scienceeducation for all concerned.
