ปัจจัยสู่ความสำเร็จในงานออกแบบเก้าอี้ของนักออกแบบไทยร่วมสมัย

Abstract

บทคัดย่อ การวิจัยนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อศึกษาแนวความคิดที่ใช้ในการออกแบบเก้าอี้ และรูปแบบผลงานเก้าอี้ของนักออกแบบไทยร่วมสมัยและเพื่อวิเคราะห์ปัจจัยที่นำไปสู่ความสำเร็จในงานออกแบบเก้าอี้ของนักออกแบบไทยร่วมสมัย กลุ่มเป้าหมายที่ใช้ในการศึกษาแบ่งออกเป็น 2 กลุ่ม คือ กลุ่มนักออกแบบเฟอร์นิเจอร์ไทยร่วมสมัย จำนวน 10 คน และกลุ่มผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิด้านการออกแบบเฟอร์นิเจอร์ จำนวน 2 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยได้แก่ แบบสัมภาษณ์และแบบบันทึกข้อมูล ผู้วิจัยรวบรวมข้อมูลโดยการศึกษาเอกสาร สัมภาษณ์เชิงลึก และบันทึกข้อมูลทำการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยวิธีการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหาผลการวิจัยที่สำคัญสามารถสรุปได้ ดังนี้1) แนวคิดที่ใช้ในงานออกแบบเก้าอี้ เป็นการออกแบบที่ต้องมีความงามและประโยชน์ใช้สอย มีสัดส่วน โครงสร้างที่แข็งแรง มีการผสมผสานเทคนิค วัสดุ พื้นผิว มีเอกลักษณ์และมีความร่วมสมัย 2)รูปแบบในงานออกแบบเก้าอี้ ประกอบด้วย รูปแบบที่มีความเรียบง่าย ทันสมัย โทนสีดูอบอุ่น โชว์พื้นผิววัสดุและเทคนิค รูปทรงอิสระ นิยมลักษณะเก้าอี้แบบมีพนักพิง ไม่มีพนักพิง มีพนักพิงมีที่เท้าแขน และเก้าอี้พักผ่อน และ3) ความสำเร็จในงานออกแบบเก้าอี้ อาศัยปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อกระบวนการทำงานและอิทธิพลต่อนักออกแบบ ได้แก่ ปัจจัยภายใน นั่นคือคุณสมบัติในตัวของนักออกแบบ  พื้นฐานความรู้ทางด้านศิลปะ การศึกษา การทันต่อกระแสโลกและติดตามความเคลื่อนไหวของวงการออกแบบ ความต้องการเป็นที่ยอมรับและประสบความสำเร็จในแง่ของรางวัล ชื่อเสียง และรายได้ การสั่งสมประสบการณ์ เอกลักษณ์หรือลักษณะเฉพาะในตัวผลงาน  ปัจจัยภายนอก ได้แก่ บริบทแวดล้อมทางสังคม วัฒนธรรม เครือข่ายความร่วมมือระหว่างนักออกแบบด้วยกันและฐานการผลิต ช่องทางในการนำเสนอผลงานและแผนการตลาด การสนับสนุนจากภาครัฐ เวทีประกวด คำสำคัญ : การออกแบบเก้าอี้  นักออกแบบไทยร่วมสมัย Abstract This research uses a qualitative approach. The purposes were to study the concepts used for chair design and the style of chair and to analyze factors that lead to success in chair design of the Thai contemporary designers. The group study consisted of ten Thai contemporary designers and two experts in furniture design. The research instruments were interview form and data recording form. The data were collected from documents, in-depth interviews and data records and were analyzed by content analysis. The results were as follows: 1) the concepts in the design of the chair needed to be aesthetic and functional, with proportions and structural strength, with the combination of techniques, materials and textures, unique and contemporary. 2) The variation of the design patterns consisted of a simple modern style with warm colors, showing the surface of materials and techniques, free-form, chairs with a backrest, backrest and armrest, no backrest and chairs for relaxing. 3) The success in chair design relied on the factors that affect the process and influence to the designers including internal factors — that is, properties of the designer, knowledge of art, education, knowledge of current global trends and movement of the design industry, the desire to be accepted and successful in terms of reward, reputation and income, experience and uniqueness or characteristic of the designs. External factors included the context of social, culture, cooperation network between designers and manufacturing base, channels in the presentations and marketing plans, and support from the government and stage contest.
