Welfare State Theory: Typologizing and Analyzing Thailand’s Pro-Welfare Conservative Regime
Abstract
(The emergence of the welfare state post-World War II marked a pivotal moment in examining of social administration and social work, supplanting previous terminologies such as social services and public welfare with a more coherent framework. However, the distinction between these terms often remains blurred due to their inherent association with state-provided welfare services. This article explores the foundational understanding of the welfare state, the historical context of disciplinary knowledge, and key welfare state theories and perspectives, with a particular emphasis on Thailand's conservative welfare regime.)Downloads
