Love with Reservation: Exploring the Anthropology of Love

Abstract

วารสารสังคมศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยศรีนครินทรวิโรฒ ปีที่ 28 ฉบับที่ 2 (กรกฎาคม-ธันวาคม 2568) เป็นวารสารที่อยู่ในฐานข้อมูลศูนย์ดัชนีการอ้างอิงวารสารไทย (Thai-Journal Citation Index Centre [TCI]) กลุ่มที่ 2 ระหว่าง พ.ศ.2568 - 2572 วารสารสังคมศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยศรีนครินทรวิโรฒ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อการส่งเสริมและสนับสนุนการเผยแพร่ผลงานการวิจัย และการสังเคราะห์องค์ความรู้ทางวิชาการในด้านสังคมศาสตร์ ของคณาจารย์ นักวิชาการ นักวิจัย และนิสิตนักศึกษา สู่สาธารณชนและผู้ที่มีความสนใจในด้านสังคมศาสตร์ การจัดทำวารสารฯ ฉบับนี้ได้รับความสนใจจากคณาจารย์ นักวิชาการ นักวิจัย และนิสิตระดับบัณฑิตศึกษาส่งบทความวิจัยเพื่อขอรับการพิจารณาตีพิมพ์และผ่านการพิจารณาจากผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ ทั้งสิ้น 8 เรื่อง เป็นบทความวิจัยทั้งหมด 8 เรื่อง บทความเหล่านี้ล้วนแล้วแต่เป็นบทความที่มีเนื้อหาน่าสนใจและมีความหลากหลายของแขนงวิชาทางสังคมศาสตร์เป็นอย่างมาก ได้แก่ รักเหลือควรเผื่อใจ: การศึกษามานุษยวิทยาว่าด้วยความรัก  สิทธิของกลุ่มคนหลากหลายทางเพศในศตวรรษที่ 21: การศึกษาเปรียบเทียบความแตกต่างของสถานการณ์ในสังคมไทยและไต้หวัน  ความคิดว่าด้วยเรื่องพรรคคอมมิวนิสต์ในงานเขียนทางการเมืองของ อันโตนิโอ กรัมชี่  สำนึกในถิ่นที่ในชุมชนริมน้ำอัมพวา  จากล้านนาสู่สยาม: พัฒนาการความเป็นเมืองเชียงใหม่สมัยราชวงศ์มังรายถึงสมัยเป็นเมืองประเทศราชของไทย  ความคิดเห็นของประชาชนที่มีต่อการเลือกตั้งนายกองค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดบึงกาฬ พ.ศ.2563  ความคาดหวังของประชาชนที่มีต่อการให้บริการสาธารณะของเทศบาลเมืองบึงยี่โถ อำเภอธัญบุรี จังหวัดปทุมธานี  การศึกษาปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อการใช้แอปพลิเคชันไลน์เพื่อการสื่อสารภายในองค์กร: กรณีศึกษา คณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ กำแพงแสน (This study, Love with Reservation: Exploring the Anthropology of Love, examines the status and cultural perceptions of love across diverse societies. It investigates the social construction of love by drawing on academic literature, research articles, and studies on emotions, feelings, and love produced by Thai and international scholars, with particular emphasis on the social sciences and, especially, anthropology. The findings indicate that love has historically been examined predominantly within psychology and neuroscience, while receiving comparatively limited attention in the social sciences. In early human history, love as a concept was not clearly articulated, as sexual relations were primarily linked to survival and reproduction. From the eighteenth century onward, the meaning of love became intertwined with the rise of industrial society, in which marriage played a significant role in securing economic stability. At the same time, romantic love—highly celebrated in the West—was disseminated globally, though still shaped by social norms regarding partner selection and social parity. Comparative anthropological studies further reveal that arrangements for intimate partnership, whether formalized as marriage or not, are deeply embedded in specific cultural contexts and social hierarchies. Overall, this study demonstrates that love is a socially and culturally constructed concept rather than a universal, unchanging phenomenon.)
