POSITIVE CHARACTERISTICS OF THE TEACHING PROFESSION: A CASE STUDY OF PRINCESS MAHA CHAKRI AWARD-WINNING TEACHERS

Abstract

บทคัดย่อ               การศึกษาคุณลักษณะทางบวกสำหรับวิชาชีพครู กรณีศึกษาครูรางวัลสมเด็จเจ้าฟ้ามหาจักรีครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อทำการการศึกษาคุณลักษณะทางบวกสำหรับวิชาชีพครู  จากครูที่ได้รับรางวัลสมเด็จเจ้าฟ้ามหาจักรี การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นงานวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ (Qualitative Research) ซึ่งเป็นการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึก (In-depth interview) โดยผู้วิจัยกำหนดผู้ให้ข้อมูลหลัก (Key informants) ที่เป็นครูที่ผ่านกระบวนการคัดเลือกในระดับต่าง ๆ จากคณะกรรมการมูลนิธิรางวัลสมเด็จเจ้าฟ้ามหาจักรีได้รับรางวัลคุณากร รางวัลครูยิ่งคุณ  รางวัลครูขวัญศิษย์ อาจารย์คณะศึกษาศาสตร์ที่มีประสบการณ์ด้านการสอนในหลักสูตรการศึกษาบัณฑิต/ครุศาสตร์บัณฑิต มหาวิทยาลัยของรัฐ / ในกำกับของรัฐ และมหาวิทยาลัยกลุ่มราชภัฏ และศิษย์เก่าคณะศึกษาบัณฑิต/ครุศาสตร์บัณฑิตมหาวิทยาลัยของรัฐ / ในกำกับของรัฐ และมหาวิทยาลัยกลุ่มราชภัฏ การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล คือ การวิเคราะห์เชิงเนื้อหา (Content Analysis) โดยมีข้อสรุปแบบอุปนัย (Induction) ผลการศึกษาพบว่า คุณลักษณะทางบวกสำหรับวิชาชีพครูประกอบด้วย 3 ประเด็นหลัก ดังนี้ 1) ด้านวิธีการสอน คือ การให้ความรักก่อนให้ความรู้ โดยครูมีการให้ความรู้โดยเน้นการปฏิบัติจริงพร้อมจัดกิจกรรมให้มีหลากหลาย เพื่อค้นหาพรสวรรค์ของตนเอง 2) ด้านการดูแลช่วยเหลือศิษย์ คือ การจัดการเรียนการสอนโดยเน้นการปฏิบัติจริง มีการให้ความรักกับนักเรียนทุกคนอย่างเท่าเทียมกันเสมือนลูกหลานของตนเอง มีความปรารถนาดีต่อศิษย์และเป็นผู้ให้ 3) ด้านการพัฒนา คือ เรียนรู้ตลอดเวลา สร้างเครือข่ายความร่วมมือ  ผลจากการวิจัยสามารถนำไปใช้ประโยชน์ ในการพัฒนาคุณลักษณะเชิงบวกของนิสิตครู เพื่อเป็นการเตรียมความพร้อมต่อการเข้าสู่วิชาชีพครูต่อไป   คำสำคัญ : คุณลักษณะทางบวก, นิสิตครู , วิชาชีพครู   Abstract This study on positive characteristics of the teaching profession, a case study of Princess Maha Chakri Award-winning teachers, aimed to examine the positive attributes of teachers who received the Princess Maha Chakri Award. Qualitative research employed in-depth interviews with key informants, including teachers selected at various levels by the Princess Maha Chakri Award Foundation Committee and received the Khunakorn Award, Khruyingkhun Award, and Khrukhwansit Award. Additionally, the study included faculty members from faculties of education with experience teaching Bachelor of Education programs at public universities, autonomous public universities, and Rajabhat universities, as well as alums from these institutions. Data analysis was conducted using content analysis of induction. The findings revealed that positive characteristics of the teaching profession comprise three main aspects: 1) Teaching methods: Prioritizing love before knowledge, emphasizing practical learning, and organizing diverse activities to discover students' talents. 2) Student care and support: Teaching management focuses on practical learning, offering equal love and care to all students as if they were their own children. It emphasizes goodwill toward students and embodies the spirit of giving. 3) Professional development: Engaging in continuous learning and building collaborative networks. The research results can be utilized to develop positive characteristics in pre-service teachers, preparing them for entry into the teaching profession.   Keywords : Positive characteristics, Pre-service teachers, Teaching Profession
