Abstract

 บทคัดย่อ อดีตที่ผ่านมาทำให้เราได้เห็นภาพที่หลบซ่อนอยู่ในสังคม ปัญหาที่อยู่ใกล้ตัวเรามากกว่าที่เราคิด เป็นที่น่าหวาดกลัวและทุกคนพยายามหลีกหนีมัน แต่กลับอยู่ร่วมกับสังคมของเรามาอย่างยาวนาน ซึ่งผู้คนส่วนใหญ่ในสังคมกลับเลือกที่จะมองข้ามผ่านมันไป มีความคิดฝังลึกในเจตนคติว่าไม่สามารถแก้ไขมันได้ นั่นคือ ปัญหาความยากจนและความเหลื่อมล้ำ ความยากจนและความเหลื่อมล้ำเป็นปัญหาที่ไม่สามารถแยกออกจากกันอย่างเด็ดขาดได้ เนื่องจากความยากจน เป็นหนึ่งในสาเหตุที่ทำให้เกิดความเหลื่อมล้ำขึ้นในสังคม ขณะเดียวกันความเหลื่อมล้ำที่มากส่งผลให้การกระจายผลตอบแทนหรือโอกาสมีความแตกต่างกัน และนำไปสู่ปัญหาความยากจนได้ ความเหลื่อมล้ำและความยากจนจึงเป็นเหตุปัจจัยและผลลัพธ์ของกันและกัน การเข้าไปสัมผัสทำความรู้จักกับโลกอีกด้านหนึ่ง มองปัญหาและตั้งคำถาม การพัฒนาในแต่ละมิติของความยากจนตลอดจนถึงรากเหง้าของเหลื่อมล้ำ จากจุดเล็กๆ ค่อยๆ แก้ไปทีละจุด การแตกปัญหาใหญ่เป็นปัญหาย่อยๆ ที่สามารถเข้าถึงได้ สามารถสร้างผลลัพธ์ที่ยิ่งใหญ่ได้ ซึ่งการแก้ไขปัญหาอาจไม่สำเร็จในวันพรุ่งนี้ แต่ก็เป็นอนาคตอันไม่ไกลเกินเอื้อม (อาศัยความยั่งยืนในการพัฒนาหรือการพัฒนาอย่างต่อเนื่อง) เราไม่อาจบรรลุจุดหมายนั้นได้ด้วยการคิดแบบเกียจคร้าน การทำงานแบบทีละขั้นทีละตอนไม่เพียงจะต่อสู้กับความยากจนได้มีประสิทธิภาพ มากไปกว่านั้นคือ ยังเป็นหนทางที่ทำให้โลกเป็นที่น่าค้นหามากขึ้น (สร้างความรับรู้ใหม่) สร้างความเข้าใจซึ่งกันและกัน นำไปสู่การอยู่ร่วมกันได้ของคนในสังคมคำสำสัญ : ความยากจน ความเหลื่อมล้ำ ความยั่งยืนในการพัฒนาABSTRACT The past gives us a glimpse of the hidden image in society.
