Abstract

This research was done with a cross-sectional analytical research with the objective of study quality of work life of public health officials at sub-district health promotion hospital in Chaiyaphum Province. The sample in this research included 260 people from purposive selection. The process of data collection was handled by questionnaires created by the researcher and be qualified by the concerned experts. Its precision was proven by finding coefficient of Cronbarch's alpha showing the value in administrative factor = 0.95; and that quality of work life = 0.85. All the data were analyzed to find the percentage, mean, and standard deviation.Results obtained from the study showed that quality of work life of public health officials atsub-district health promotion hospital in Chaiyaphum Province was at the moderate level with percentageof 71.54. Adequate and fair compensation domain is moderate level with percentage of 71.15, development of human capacities domain was at the moderate level with percentage of 75.38, growth and security domainwas at the moderate level with percentage of  75.38, social relevance domainwas at the moderate level with percentage of 71.54. constitutionalism domainwas at the moderate level with percentage of 74.23, the total life space domain is moderate level with percentage of77.31 and social benefit integration domainwas at the moderate level with percentage of 91.92.From this research results, it has been suggested that the public health officials authorities should bring these topics for consideration to improve the morale of public health officials, and to inspire the right motivation for overcoming their financial status under the rights they should deserve from governmental administration. Besides, they should further  study in other factors affecting the quality of work life of public health officials at sub-district health promotion hospitals.
