RESULT OF MODEL KNOWLEDGE PROMOTION FOR THE BUILDING OWNER IN PURSUING PERMISSION OF BUILDING CONSTRUCTION

Abstract

This research was action re s e a r c h . The purposes study was result of model knowledgepromotion for the building owner in pursuing permission of building construction follow Building ControlAct., B.E.2522 at Chaiyaphum Municipality Muang District Chaiyaphum Province. The experimental groupconsisted of 45 cases of study obtained from owner building in pursuing permission of buildingconstruction. Collect the data by quantitative and qualitative method. Procedure 4 steps for research; 1)survey of problem 2) method of solve problem 3) promotion of knowledge and 4) evaluation. Thedeveloped interview was used as a tool to collect employed quantitative data. The content validity wasimproved and adjusted by the suggestion of the experts. Using KR-20 tested the reliability of theassessment tools; were 0.90 knowledge level. Data analysis was done by computer program. Statisticswere to acquire percentage, means, and standard deviation, maximum, minimum, dependent samples tteststatistically significant difference at 0.05 and qualitative data used content analysis.The result revealed that: almost of owner building were women 51.1 %, age between 41-50years old 35.6 %, age average 46 years old (S.D.=10.99), status (marry) 80.0 %, graduated in Bachelor'sdegree and higher degree 60.0 % , occupational (government employee/state enterprise employee) 57.8%. The almost of the revenue sources from government and the related organization 86.67 %. Thealmost of the income between 25,001- 50,000 baht 44.4 %, the income average 38,351 baht(S.D.=25,808.24). The almost duration of live in Chaiyaphum Municipality lower than 10 years old 48.9% (S.D.=18.13). The almost of the first pursuing 84.4 %, the permission of building construction 95.6 %information about pursuing permission of building construction follow building control Act., B.E.2522 formthe bank 88.9%. This research indicate the knowledge level of the building owner in pursuingpermission of building construction follow building control Act., B.E.2522 at Chaiyaphum MunicipalityMuang District Chaiyaphum Province promotion before the receiving the learning of knowledge at lowlevel 80.0 % .Knowledge level of the owner building in pursuing permission of building constructionfollow before promotion of knowledge found that: 80% for low level of knowledge and 20 % for high levelof knowledge. After promotion of knowledge found that: 53.3% for low level of knowledge and 46.7 %170 for high level of knowledge. After intervention the result revealed that: the knowledge level of the ownerbuilding in pursuing permission of building construction follow building control Act., B.E.2522 beforeinformation were mean score for the knowledge 9.84 (S.D.= 5.64) , after information using the mediaflap, knowledge and public relations information were higher than pre-test mean score for the knowledge14.91 (S.D.= 4.39), statistically significant difference (t=7.46, p-value<0.001)Therefore, the related organization should result of model knowledge promotion for the buildingowner in pursuing permission of building construction using the media flap, knowledge and publicrelations information for decreased problems and obstacles in pursuing permission of buildingconstruction.
