The purpose of this study was to investigate the actual and desirable characteristics ofphysical education teachers at Institutes the of Physical Educations and also to compare the actualand desirable characteristics during 2010 academic year as perceived by undergraduate studentsin 5 areas, e.g. academic, teaching, personality and human relations, moral and ethics, and skillabilities.
