Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review) have been followed.

Author instructions

Srinakharinwirot Science Journal welcomes original research articles and review articles which have not been previously published elsewhere. The Journal provides a forum for the publication of papers relating to the various aspects of science. The scope includes:

  • mathematics and statistic
  • chemistry
  • biology
  • physics
  • material science
  • computer science
  • food science
  • science education

Manuscript format

Your manuscript should be prepared in a correct format of the journal. The manuscript must include:

  1. Title
  2. Author(s)

          One of the authors is designated as the corresponding author with contact details: email address and full postal address.

  1. Abstract (no more than 250 words)
  2. Keywords (3-5 keywords)
  3. Introduction

          Provide an adequate background and state the objectives of the work.

  1. Materials and Methods

          Provide sufficient details for the work. Methods that are already published should be indicated by a reference.

  1. Results and Discussion

          Results should be clear and concise with detail of findings.

  1. Conclusion

                    Conclusion should explore the significance of the results of the work. Avoid extensive citations and discussion of published literature.

  1. Acknowledgements
  2. References

          Use Vancouver style for references. Citation is listed by the number (1, 2, 3,…). Citing theses and data from website as references is not acceptable for this journal. “Unpublished observations” and “Thesis” are not allowed to be the references. Examples are shown below:

Figures and tables must be embedded in text which should be placed next to the relevant text in the manuscript. The corresponding figure caption should be placed directly below the figure. The corresponding table caption should be placed above the table. More information can be found in the manuscript template on the journal website.

SWU Sci J also publishes research articles from the conferences that the Faculty of Science, Srinakharinwirot University has hosted or co-hosted in Special issue or Supplement issue. Special issue is published in regular schedule of the journal (June or December), while Supplement issue is published in an extra issue from the regular schedule. All articles must be submitted to the journal website, and the review process is performed in the same process as manuscripts submitted regularly.
