Purpose:The purpose of this research was to explore the students’ exercise behaviors after taking theexercise for health class. The sample size by Yamane (1967) at confidence level 95%30% with asample of 508 undergraduate students used in the study was a survey of exercise behavior. Thecontent validity was 0.83. Cronbach’s alpha coefficient, internal consistency reliability at 0.97 wasfound. The 487 questionnaires from the university students taking the classes returned. Frequency andpercentage were calculated.Result (s):The Exercise for Health class effected to their exercise behavior as follow; the most preferredactivities were, jogging, aerobic dancing, and badminton, in convenience time was identified for timechosen, approximately 30 minutes each time. They exercised at a moderate level until very tired butcan talk. The main reasons for exercise were, for staying healthy, for fun and for weight loss. Theyliked to exercise with friends and exercise regularly at campus stadium because it is convenient.Conclusion (s):These data show that the student’s perceived benefits of exercise choose to go out andexercise affecting from main objective of the course. Therefore, sports, fitness and health classesshould be offered in the university. These will encourage students to know and experience as well asperceive benefits of exercise and adopted a healthy behavior to exercise and play sport regularly andcontinuously.
