This survey research was conducted to study and compare health behaviors of Buddhistnovice students in Prapariyattidham Wat Sothon Wararam School, Chachoengsao Province. Theassociation between knowledge, attitude and practice on health behaviors of Buddhist novice studentswere also explored. The samples were 156 Buddhist novice students in Prapariyattidham Wat SothonWararam School obtained by Stratified random sampling. Knowledge test, attitude and practicequestionnaires on health behaviors were used for data collection. Percentage, mean, standarddeviation, t-test, and Pearson product moment correlation coefficient were applied for data analysis.The results indicated that Buddhist novice students had poor level of knowledge on health behaviorsbut they had good level of attitude and practice on health behaviors. Knowledge, attitude and practiceon health behavior of high school Buddhist novice students were higher than those of secondaryschool Buddhist novice students. Buddhist novice students with different education level hadsignificantly difference in knowledge and attitude on health behaviors at .05 level. Pearson productmoment correlation coefficient indicated the positive association between knowledge, attitude andpractice on health behaviors of Buddhist novice students at .05 level. Knowledge, attitude and practiceon health behaviors should be enhanced among Buddhist novice students. An appropriate healthcurriculum for Buddhist novice students should be developed.
