This quasi-experimental research was conducted to study the effects of cooperative learningmethod towards the knowledge on oral cavity diseases prevention of Prathomsuksa 4 students. Thesamples were 63 Prathomsuksa 4 students of two schools selected by purposive sampling. Thirty twostudents in Prathomsuksa 4 of Suraoseraw School were selected as the experimental group and 31Prathomsuksa 4 students from Samyeakklonglorlae School were selected as the control group. Theexperimental group received the learning method program constructed by the researcher and thecontrol group received normal health education program. The data were collected by questionnaire andwere then analyzed through percentage, mean, standard deviation, dependent samples t-test andIndependent samples t-test. The results indicated that after receiving cooperative learning method, thestudents in experimental group had the knowledge on oral cavity diseases prevention better thanbefore receiving cooperative learning method with statistically significant difference at .05 level and thestudents in experimental group had the knowledge on oral cavity diseases prevention better than thestudents in control group with statistically significant difference at .05 level.
