Abstract

Abstract   This article aims to present an effective learning strategies appropriate to the current social context. Based on the idea that the process of learning skills required to develop and to improve continuously, enhancing the learner skills and promoting the learner to be a reflective learner who engages in active processing are needed in the 21st century.               The present strategies for promoting the reflective learner are as follows: First, improving learning in class effectively by using LISAN techniques- lead, ideas, signal words, actively listen, and note taking. Second, Setting the learning process by engaging the active processing reflective SQ4R method. Third, improving study habits a few more things. Fourth, changing passive studying into reflective by using self-regulated learning. Finally, overcoming the procrastination by using time management, goal setting, and make learning an adventure.        In conclusion, all strategies can be applied more efficiently and effectively by being a reflective learner who engages in active processing.
