On Shi Wei’s Writing History and the Implication of Spiritual Literature

Abstract

ABSTRACT Shi Wei is one of the outstanding oversea Chinese writers creating fruitful works on many literary forms, including:  poem, novel and prose.  A few years ago, she first defined spiritual literature theoretically.  She first tried to write poem and then also on her novels under this theory.  This creative work brought her success. Her works were noticed by scholars in this field and results in encouraging displaying unknown Chinese Christian literature to the public and got lots of praise. It has been accepted that her woks have an important status in Chinese contemporary Christian literature. This text mainly discusses her writing including the history and the significance of Spiritual literature in contemporary literature and today’s  society.
