Abstract

This research aims to study the relationship between the names of princes andprincesses in Chakri dynasty and those of other members in the same royal family.The study showed that those royal names indicate a certain degree of relations amongroyal family members. Some names of princes and princesses suggested the connection toother members of their royal family such as their fathers, mothers, siblings and other kinsmen.Such connection was shown through the use of similar words and words with the samemeanings in the names of royal family.
