Abstract

This research aims to study the effectiveness of the Project Based Learning toward theEnglish writing skill of Mathayom 1 students. The subjects were 49 students in class for whichthe researcher was responsible in the second semester of 2009. †Lesson plans, an EnglishProficiency Test on writing skill, studentsû satisfaction questionnaire on English Project BasedLearning and Learning Log were employed as the researching tools. Means, standard deviationand T-Test were used in data analysis.The study shows that the English writing ability ofmathayom 1 students at Patumwan Demonstration School was significantly developed afterthe Project Based Learning indicated the significantly increased writing ability at the .01 leveland the studentsû satisfaction was high.Keyword : Project-based Learning, †writing skill, the project based lesson plan, the ability ofwriting skill and the satisfaction on English learning process.
