Abstract
The study aims to study a model for developing respectful mind of theupper secondary students. This is a qualitative research. The data iscollected by in-depth interview of the administrators and teachers withextended experiences in teaching and extra curriculum activities. Theinterview is formed with semi-structured questions and the data analysis willbe described.The result showed that experts define the respectful mind as theresponse to an individual or a group of people with acceptance and realizingthe value and the ability to work with others, with open mind, respect and therealization of the equality each individual, which is directly related to HowardGarner’s ideas. But in the current Thai context, the expert has expanded theelements of respectful mind to include the humbleness and the non-stereotype. To develop the respectful mind, the engagement techniqueshould be employed, the critical thinking should be practiced and volunteerspirit activity, will be used.Keywords : Respectful Mind, Technique of Participant, Critical ThinkingDownloads
